Village Vibes Terms of Service

Eligibility And Account Responsibility

• You must confirm that you are 18 or older to use the current release.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the profile, service, business, post, image, and contact information you submit.
• You must not impersonate another person, business, organization, or official account.
• You must not attempt to access another user's account, chats, private data, or backend systems.
• To limit account-creation abuse, one app installation may create no more than two accounts. On supported Android devices, Google Play App Set ID may also be used to apply a limit of two newly created accounts in a rolling 365-day period. These limits do not prevent an existing account from logging in.

User Content

You keep responsibility for content you submit, including posts, comments, images, service listings, business listings, offers, reports, and chat messages. You must have the right to share the content and any images you upload.

Public posts, public service listings, public business listings, selected profile fields, and public media may be visible to relevant Village Vibes users. Chats are limited to conversation participants, subject to safety, support, moderation, security, and legal review where required.

Prohibited Conduct

• No harassment, hate, threats, caste or religious abuse, sexual exploitation, child safety violations, non-consensual imagery, or privacy-invasive content.
• No privacy leaks, doxxing, private phone numbers, private addresses, identity documents, private chat screenshots, or images shared without appropriate rights or permission.
• No fraud, scams, fake jobs, fake rewards, false business claims, spam, malware, misinformation, harmful rumors, impersonation, or attempts to manipulate reports, rewards, games, verification, or moderation.
• No illegal goods, unlawful services, regulated items offered without required authorization, or content that violates applicable law or Google Play policies.
• No uploading images of people, private documents, homes, businesses, or events without appropriate rights or permission.

Moderation And Enforcement

Village Vibes may review reports, restrict visibility, remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or cooperate with lawful requests when needed for safety, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, dispute handling, service security, or legal compliance.

Rewards, Points, Games, And Promotions

1. Nature & Value of Points

• Closed-Loop Loyalty System: Village Vibes points are non-monetary, closed-loop engagement rewards granted solely for platform activity.
• No Real-World Cash Value: Points cannot be bought, sold, redeemed for fiat currency, transferred to bank accounts, or withdrawn. They do not constitute legal tender, stored value, or property.
• Limited License: Points represent a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to access promotional features inside the app. Village Vibes reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate point balances in cases of fraud or terms violations without monetary compensation.
• No Gambling or Wagering: Points cannot be used for betting, wagering, or real-money gaming.

2. Earning Points & Daily Streaks

• Deterministic Earning: Points are earned strictly through transparent, rules-based activities such as daily app activity, referrals, and skill-based features. A signup welcome reward may be granted only once for the same phone identity, including if an account is later deleted and recreated.
• One-Time Referral Reward: A mobile number may receive a referral reward only once. An invalid, expired, self-owned, same-installation, or previously used referral code does not prevent account creation, but no referral reward is granted for that code.
• Streak Milestone Rewards: Certain games or activities may award streak points for continuous daily engagement:
  • 7 Consecutive Days: 10 Points
  • 14 Consecutive Days: 10 Points
  • 21 Consecutive Days: 10 Points
  • 30 Consecutive Days: 20 Points
• Earning Limits: Only the first valid activity or game completion per day counts toward a streak. A missed day resets the streak counter to zero. Leaderboards are purely for community recognition and do not award rank-based points.

3. Business Offers & Redemption

• Merchant Independence: Participating local businesses independently define their own point acceptance terms, including required point amounts, minimum purchase limits, discount values, and offer expiration dates.
• No Fixed Exchange Rate: Village Vibes does not establish a standard conversion rate between points and Indian Rupees (₹).
• Irrevocable Transactions: Once a user confirms a point transfer to a business for an offer, the transaction is finalized under the recorded terms at the time of transfer. Prospective changes to future business offers do not modify past completed ledger entries.

4. Wallet Transfers & Security Limits

• Explicit User Confirmation: Scanning a QR code merely identifies the destination wallet or merchant. A QR scan never automatically debits points; every outgoing transfer requires explicit confirmation from the sender.
• Transfer Boundaries: Peer-to-peer (P2P) point transfers are restricted to members within the same registered village. Business transactions and payment requests may cross village boundaries.
• Daily Transaction Caps: Accounts are strictly limited to 20 completed outgoing transfers per India calendar day (IST).
• Audit & Fraud Controls: Village Vibes reserves the right to apply anti-fraud algorithms, freeze suspicious accounts, or reverse erroneous or fraudulent ledger entries while maintaining audit logs.

5. Business Promotion Credits

• Promotional Usage: Eligible business owners may use free promotional credits or closed-loop points to boost posts tagging their own registered business.
• Transparent Metrics: The point cost, target scope, and duration are displayed prior to user confirmation. Promotion points carry no monetary cash value and do not guarantee specific sales, views, or customer conversions.
