01

Free Entry

Registration and participation in the Village Vibes Vinayaka Chavithi Utsavalu 2026 competition are strictly free of charge. No purchase, payment, Village Vibes points, paid promotion, referral requirement, app rating, app review, or advertisement viewing is required to enter a mandapam or to cast a vote.

02

One Real Mandapam Per Entry & Duplicate Policy

Each registration must represent one genuine, physical community Vinayaka mandapam established within the states of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana for the 2026 festival season.

  • Duplicate Entries: If multiple registrations are created for the exact same physical mandapam, votes will not be aggregated or combined. Only the single entry representing that location with the highest number of valid votes will be considered. Impersonators attempting to claim a mandapam will be disqualified.
03

Responsibility for Registration

Village Vibes does not manually verify committee memberships prior to registration. By registering a mandapam, the account holder promises they are associated with the setup and have the community's permission to represent it on the app. If a dispute arises locally regarding who should control a mandapam’s registration, Village Vibes reserves the right to withdraw the entry to maintain peace and fairness.

04

Location Capacity

To protect fair access, ensure platform stability, and prevent spam, Village Vibes reserves the right to apply a published registration capacity limit to specific villages, towns, or wards. Once a location reaches its maximum registration capacity, no further entries will be accepted for that specific area.

05

Photo Upload Window & Content Guidelines

Participants cannot upload photos during early registration. The photo upload portal will officially open at 10:00 AM on the morning of Vinayaka Chavithi and will permanently close at 12:00 AM (midnight) that same day.

  • Authenticity: Entries must feature current, original photographs of the 2026 setup. AI-generated, composite, stock, or digitally altered images are strictly prohibited.
  • Content Conduct: All uploaded photographs must be family-friendly and focus on the festive spirit. Entries featuring prominent political party banners, hate speech, offensive material, or excessive commercial advertising will be removed and disqualified.
06

Public Voting Window, The "Two-Vote" Rule & Tie-Breakers

The voting lines will open simultaneously with the photo uploads at 10:00 AM on the day of Vinayaka Chavithi. Voting will officially close at 10:00 PM on the day after Vinayaka Chavithi.

  • The Two-Vote Rule: Each eligible user is granted exactly two (2) votes. These votes must be cast for two distinctly different mandapams. You may cast one vote for your own mandapam, but the second vote must be given to a different entry. You cannot give both votes to the same mandapam.
  • Tie-Breaker Protocol: In the event of a tie in the final vote count for any prize tier, the winner will be determined by the original registration timestamp. The mandapam that was registered on the platform first will be awarded the higher prize.
  • Voter Privacy: All individual voting choices are strictly confidential. Village Vibes will never reveal which user voted for which mandapam.
07

Anti-Fraud & Fair Play

Any attempt to manipulate the voting process—including but not limited to using automated scripts, bot networks, purchasing votes, or creating fake Village Vibes accounts using temporary phone numbers—will result in immediate disqualification of the mandapam. Village Vibes employs backend analytics to detect suspicious voting patterns and reserves the right to void fraudulent votes or ban entries without prior warning.

08

What Other People Can See (Privacy & Visibility)

Full mandapam names and specific details will be fully visible to users browsing within that entry's "home village" or local geographic area on the platform. For users viewing from outside that home village, Village Vibes may restrict visibility to aggregate location counts. The personal phone numbers and private account details of the registered organizers will remain strictly confidential.

09

Corrections and Withdrawal

The organizing account holder may edit, correct, or entirely withdraw their mandapam entry at any time before the public voting phase officially begins. If an entry is withdrawn, any previously generated QR codes or printable posters associated with that entry will remain valid only to display a message explaining that the registration is no longer active.

10

₹1,00,000 Total Prizes & Day-3 Physical Verification

The total announced cash prize pool for this competition is ₹1,00,000. Prizes will be awarded as follows: First Prize: ₹50,000 | Second Prize: ₹30,000 | Third Prize: ₹20,000.

  • Physical Verification: Prizes will not be distributed digitally immediately after voting closes. On the third day, a designated Village Vibes representative will visit the top-voted mandapam locations in person to conduct a spot-verification.
  • Verification Fallback: The prize money will only be disbursed directly to the authorized organizing committee after the physical setup is confirmed to be legitimate. If verification reveals that a top-voted entry violates any rules (e.g., the idol does not exist, photos were fake, or fraud was used), that entry will be disqualified, and the prize will automatically roll over to the next highest-voted legitimate mandapam.
11

Image Rights, Public Display & User Liability

By uploading photographs, the user grants Village Vibes a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and feature the submitted images across the app, website, and promotional media. The uploading user assumes full responsibility and liability for any copyright or privacy violation arising from their uploaded media. Users retain the right to delete their photos from the platform at any time before the voting deadline, which will remove them from public display.

12

Organizer, Rule Changes & Final Authority

Village Vibes is an independently operated project and is the sole sponsor and organizer of this competition. Village Vibes reserves the right to clarify these rules, pause or reschedule any phase of the competition, or withdraw any entry when reasonably necessary to maintain fairness, safety, technical integrity, or legal compliance. All decisions made by Village Vibes regarding vote validity, disqualifications, verification outcomes, and prize distribution are final and binding.
